**Avatar 1:** Hi there! And welcome back to our Egreenews Conversations! **Avatar 2:** Great to be here! **Avatar 1:** So today we want to chat about the 2025 Hernandez Forecast on emergency preparedness and inclusion. **Avatar 2:** Interesting! What’s the big question here? **Avatar 1:** What happens when preparedness plans exclude the most vulnerable? **Avatar 2:** Hmm, that’s a tough one. How often does this actually happen? **Avatar 1:** Too often, emergency strategies overlook some critical groups. **Avatar 2:** Like who? **Avatar 1:** For example, individuals without stable housing, residents without vehicles or digital access, and people who don’t trust government systems due to past experiences. **Avatar 2:** Oh wow, that’s a lot of people left out. What about other communities? **Avatar 1:** Right, we also need to consider LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse members. **Avatar 2:** Exactly. So what does this mean for the plans themselves? **Avatar 1:** If your plan assumes everyone has the same resources—it’s not a plan. It’s a privilege. **Avatar 2:** Hmm, that really puts things in perspective. So what should preparedness be instead? **Avatar 1:** Preparedness must be accessible, inclusive, and realistic for every corner of the community. **Avatar 2:** That makes sense. How can we make sure plans are really meeting these needs? **Avatar 1:** We need to rethink plans through the lens of equity, dignity, and practicality. **Avatar 2:** Interesting. So, who’s still missing from your county’s preparedness conversation—and how can you invite them in? **Avatar 1:** That’s a great question. How do you think we can reach out to those who are often left out? **Avatar 2:** Hmm, maybe by listening more and making sure everyone’s voice is heard? **Avatar 1:** Exactly. So as a quick recap, remember to always make learning a priority, keep exploring, and connect with fellow learners like Hugi Hernandez and the founders of Egreenews, Mmm, who knows, maybe you can find them on the web or LinkedIn. But anyways, please, always remember to be good with yourself. **Avatar 2:** So, bye for now, and we hope to see you next time!
